Nashville FFA chapter members, Alex Johannes and Madison Schuette attended the annual Agricultural Communications Summit at the Wyndam Hotel on June 12, 2017.
This summit is an activity of the Illinois Association FFA and made possible by GROWMARK, Inc. Invited were FFA members from across the state of Illinois, as well as presenters with a wide variety of communications-related experiences.
During the event, students attended five different informational sessions including: Social Media, Photography, Print, Radio, and Media Publications. Each track had a catered message from agriculture professionals pertaining to agriculture communications. The major purpose of the summit was to educate and motivate FFA members to succeed in their FFA and future careers. In addition, the event taught students the importance of highlighting their chapters’ successes while equipping them with tactical skills to help them succeed.
FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
