The Hornettes girls track team had a successful season that saw them win the Nashville Invitational and their IHSA Class 1A Sectional for the second straight season. The Nashville Hornets Bass Fishing team competed at the Conference Tournament at Kinkaid Lake just outside of Murphysboro. Eight teams competed in the tournament with Pinckneyville finishing third, Nashville finishing second, and Murphysboro taking first place.
Nashville High School played host to baseball camps this past week as kids between kindergarten and ninth grade took to the ball diamond for camps held at Nashville Community High School.
