October 9

Nashville, Hoyleton, Ashley Fire Departments, Washington County EMS, and a Washington County Deputy were dispatched to Beaucoup, IL for a report of a structure on fire. No one was injured in the fire.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a residence in Irvington, IL for a report of a neighborhood complaint.

October 8

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department assisted that Nashville Police Department with a report of suspicious activity on North Mill Street.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of Unlawful Visitation Interference from Okawville.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to DuBois for a report of a verbal domestic disturbance.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to rural Nashville for a report of Suspicious Activity.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to interstate 64 around the 55th mile marker in reference to a motorist assist.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to Marissa Road in Marissa, Illinois in reference to suspicious activity.

October 7

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to Beaucoup Township Line Road in Richview, Illinois in reference to suspicious activity.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a theft from rural Coulterville.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Illinois State Police with an one vehicle accident. While assisting Illinois State Police, Kelly Jo Cook, 35, of Mt. Vernon, IL was arrested for Aggravated Battery of a Peace Officer and Resisting A Peace Officer.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted all Washington County Fire Departments with a field fire in rural Hoyleton, IL.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a one vehicle traffic crash on Tower Rd. The driver left the scene. Joshua W. Walker, 30 of Richview, was cited by the  Washington County Sheriff’s Office for Failure To Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Failure to Notify Police Authority, and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. No injuries were reported.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to River Bluff Road in Okawville, Illinois in reference to domestic violence.

October 6

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Jamie L. Cooley, 27 from Nashville for a Washington County warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to North Walnut Street in Richview, Illinois in reference to a theft.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Denver S. Duff, 35, of Kell, IL on a Washington County Warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Zachary B. Setzekorn, 27, of Okawville, IL for Driving While License Revoked. Zachary was also cited for speeding.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a Theft from a residence near Richview, IL.

October 5

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Illinois State Police with a vehicle attempting to flee from officer.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a Motorist Assist on Interstate 64 near the 44 mile marker.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to Ashley, IL for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of Debris in Roadway on State Route 127 north of New Minden.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to an apartment complex on Howe Street in Irvington for suspicious activity.

A Washington County deputy responded to rural Hoyleton for a report of suspicious activity.

Washington County Sheriff Deputies assisted another police agency by trying to locate a runaway juvenile that was possibly in the DuBois, IL area.

October 4

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to an two vehicle accident on U.S Highway 51 in Dubois. A vehicle driven by Cody A. Cavins, 21, of Duqoin, IL was following to closely when the vehicle Cody was driving struck the rear end of a vehicle driven by Lester D. Kujawa, 80, of DuQuoin, IL. No injuries were reported.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to North Crestview Drive in Irvington, Illinois in reference to suspicious activity.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to County Highway 17 in reference to suspicious activity.
