“The Lord of the Rings – The Fellowship of the Ring” will be shown at the Nashville Public Library at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, February 8.

Tolkien Movie Series Continues At Library

In February, the Nashville Public Library’s Tolkien movie series continues on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. with the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, 2001-2003, by Peter Jackson.

This will include showings of “The Fellowship of the Ring” on February 8, “The Two Towers” on February 15, and “The Return of the King” on February 22.

On Saturday, February 10, The Library’s American Girl Club will have a showing of “Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front” at 1 p.m.

Thursday, February 15, at 1 p.m. is Harry Potter Day – Come dressed as your favorite Harry Potter character (muggles are welcome too!) and be prepared for magical snacks, trivia, and a showing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Please RSVP for the event.

Friday, February 23, the Library will host a DIY scrapbook binder workshop at 6 p.m.

Learn how to make a fun scrapbook notebook. All materials will be provided for a small fee of $3. Call or stop by the library today to register.
