December 22

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to rural Irvington, to assist Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office with a report of domestic trouble.

December 23

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the interstate for a report of a one vehicle accident. Daryl Andra Mensey, 36, of Marietta, Ga. was identified as the driver of the vehicle. There were no injuries reported from the accident.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to rural Beaucoup, for a report of a one car accident. Kyle Joseph Gaston, 25, of Nashville, was identified as the driver of the vehicle. No injuries resulted from the accident.

A Washington County deputy responded to a one car traffic crash on I-64 westbound at the 47 1/2 mile marker. Wesley R. Gogdal, 36, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., ran off the roadway striking a tree. No injuries. Also responding were the Nashville Police and Fire Dept’s and Okawville Police Dept.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stephanie N. Choat, 31, of New Minden, for Domestic Battery. Jon G. Deneef, 31, of New Minden, was also arrested for Battery.

December 27

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle crash that occurred on State Route 15 near Howard School Road. A vehicle driven by Zachary A. Rybicki, 27, of Ashley, traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch before overturning.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a one vehicle crash that occurred at State Route 15. James C. Reifschneider, 67, of Smithton, was traveling west-bound on State Route 15 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a residence in rural Oakdale, to assist Washington County EMS on a medical call.

December 28

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy was conducting a security check on a business in rural Venedy, and investigated a suspicious vehicle.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a residence in Ashley, for a 9-1-1 call that had static on the line.

A Washington County Deputy responded to Mockingbird Rd and County Highway 27 for a motorist assist.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to rural Oakdale, for a report of a one vehicle accident. Brandi M. Smith, 41, of Percy, was identified as the driver of the vehicle. Lacey T. Smith, 19, of Percy, was identified as the passenger in the vehicle. There were no injuries reported from the accident.
