April 8

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted the Illinois State Police with a report of a possible DUI on interstate 64.

April 7

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Jeremiah W. Bobbett, 27 of Ashley for No Valid Driver’s License. Bobbett was also cited for operating an uninsured vehicle.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a vehicle driven by Zorab Hagopian, 89 of Radom, IL struck a vehicle driven by Edgar L. Elliott, 67 of Mt. Vernon, IL on E. Main St. in Ashley, IL. No injuries reported.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to Interstate 64 at the 57th mile marker for a report of a reckless driver.

April 6

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a hit an run accident at the intersection of State Route 127 and State Route 177. A vehicle driven by Bradley J. Boisseau, 19, New Athens, IL crossed through the intersection when the vehicle that Bradley was driving was struck by another vehicle. Driver of Unit 1 fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a residence in Richview, IL for a report of domestic trouble.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a residence in rural Nashville, IL to take a fraud report.

April 4

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted Illinois State Police with a traffic accident on Interstate 64.

April 3

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a one vehicle crash that occurred on Tamaroa Rd. Kevin Schoenbacher of Tamaroa swerved to avoid striking an oncoming vehicle. Schoenbacher’s vehicle left the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. No injuries were reported.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported domestic dispute in the Hoyleton area.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to County Highway 27 for a report of copper theft. Taylor James, 19 of Collinsville, Illinois and Haley Suhling, 20 of Collinsville, Illinois were arrested for theft, criminal damage to property, and possession of burglary tools.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to West Jason Court in Richview for a report of suspicious activity.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a motorist assist in rural Addieville.
