Daniel Chwascinski

Mr. Daniel Chwascinski of Beaucoup, departed this life at his residence on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 5 A.M.  He had attained the age of 82 years, 5 months and 17 days.

Mr. Chwascinski was born on November 23, 1934 in Bolo Township, Washington County, the son of Leo and Mamie (Krzyzanoski) Chwascinski.  He was united in marriage to Carol Hofstetter and they enjoyed 50 years together.

Daniel worked for the State Highway Department for 23 years and served as the road commissioner for the Beaucoup Township for 8 years.  He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville. Daniel loved trap shooting, refurbishing antique tractors and cars and he enjoyed working on anything mechanical.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Carol Chwascinski of Beaucoup; six children, Vicky Radake and husband Michael of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Karen Flanigan and husband Edward of Ashley, Edward Essary of Hollister, Mo., Pamala Smith and husband Richard of Hoyleton, Robin Davis of Hoyleton, and Danny Chwascinski and wife Amanda of Ashley; a brother, Edward Chwascinski and wife Louise; a sister, Jeanette Long and husband Mel; 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Kevin and Mark Chwascinski; a sister, Margie Malick; two brothers, Barney Chwascinski and Daniel’s twin brother, Clemons Chwascinski, and a grandson, Bradley.

Per the wishes of Daniel and his family, cremation will be performed and a memorial mass will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10 A.M. with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating.  Interment of ashes will follow in the Beaucoup Cemetery.

There will be no visitation hours. Those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the church.
Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials may be made to the Beaucoup Cemetery or the St. Ann Catholic School and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
