Letter: Fowler Brouhaha A Mountain From An Anthill

Regarding the brouhaha concerning Mr. Fowler’s recent anecdote in The Nashville News, it seems to me to be a classic case of making a mountain out of not a molehill but an anthill. Apparently the noise makers never were 15 years old, possibly having gone directly from infancy to adulthood. Now if the aforementioned noise makers would look up the work anecdote, assuming they could find a dictionary, they might learn something. (Look up brouhaha also while at it)

Apparently the Teacher’s Union has something against Mr. Fowler although I doubt the issue is unanimous. I wonder why the self-aggrandizing (look it up) union officials never reveal their names, preferring to hide behind the banner “Teachers Union”, (if I missed something, let me know). Was it really necessary to publish in newspapers and invite TV talking heads to Nashville to air their petty self righteousness? (look it up)

Many centuries ago a well known person named Jesus Christ said “ He that is without sin among you let him first cast a stone.” Maybe the noise makers missed that day in Sunday School. WWJD?

Final word: Something that happened to a 15 year old 30 or 40 years ago? Get a life! Grow up and get over it!

Sincerely,
Edmund Paszkiewicz
