Comfort Gladys Nesbitt Stanard, 96, of Nashville, passed away at 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville. She was born on February 10, 1919 at her home place in the Pahsimeroi Valley, Idaho, the daughter of John William and Martha Beech Nesbitt. She married Carl D. Stanard on May 28, 1948 and they later divorced. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, John Franklin”Frankie,” Joe Ervin, Donald Beech and Clarence “Ben” Benjamin. Left to mourn her passing are her children, Sherman Stanard of Moab, Utah; Linda Summers and husband will of Nashville; Carl D. Stanard II of Boise, Idaho; and Scott Stanard of Meridian, Idaho; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Bonnie L. Johnston and Lily M. Young; one brother, Sherman L. Nesbitt; and many nieces, nephews
