Monster Mash Tournament Schedule Released

The 2015 “Monster Mash” Volleyball Tournament will take place this Saturday October 17th at Breese Central High School. The participating teams in this year's tournament are: Breese Central, Freeburg, Collinsville, Columbia, Gibault, Nashville, Waterloo, and Teutopolis. Doors for the tournament will open at 8:00 a.m and admission will be $6.00.

The Hornettes have been placed in Pool A with Central, Collinsville, and Gibault. The Hornettes first game will be at 10:00 a.m as they will take on Collinsville. Nashville will play again at 11:00 a.m against Central before taking on Gibault at 2:00 p.m to end pool play.

The next set of matchups will depend on the finish in pool play as the Hornettes will play at either 3:00 or 4:00.

All matches will be best two-of-three, rally scoring to 25 points with a cap of 27. If a third game is needed it will be to 15 points with a cap of 17 points. The championship match and third place match will be best two-of-three to 25, no cap.
