Nashville Jr. Golf Tournament

The Nashville Memorial Golf Course was the host for the Nashville Jr. Golf Tournament, held on July 14. Boys and girls in five different age groups competed.

The 8-9 age group played only five holes. On the boys side Konner Kueper of Carlyle finished first with a score of 19. Josiah Jones, of Sparta, finished second with a score of 25. On the girls side, Alivia Reisch finished in first, while Brynn Stiegmann finished in second place. Also competing in the 8-9 age group was Brendan Klinger, Lucas Ohley, Levi Ohley, Kannon Reisch, Owen Moss, Weston Grabow, and Bennett Moss.

In the second age group, boys ages 10-11 played nine holes. Cy Norman, of Benton, came out on a top with a score of 38, beating second place by nine strokes. Second place went to Austin Collins, of Edlorado, with a score of 47. The other boys competing in the 10-11 age group were, Nicholas Stanford, Garrett Williamson, Shane Klasing, Brady Meyer, and Parker Renken.

Only three girls competed in the 12-13 age group with Kenzie Anderson, of Salem, taking first place with a score of 59. Ryan Stiegman, of Nashville, finished second with a score of 68, followed by Allison Maschhoff with a score of 71. Gabe Kreid, of Nashville, took home first place in the boys 12-13 age group with a score of 37. Jarrett James, of Chester, finished second with a score of 40, followed by Carter Goebel in third, Aiden Moss in fourth, and Ben Herron in fifth.

In the 14-15 age group, Kylee Vaughan, of McLeansboro, brought home first place playing 18 holes with a score of 81, followed by Hannah Gahagan, of Murphysboro, in second with a score of 88. Kaci Rendleman was third, followed by Erin Klasing in fourth, Elizabeth Bierman in fifth, and Sydney Gordon in sixth. On the boys side Grant Goebel was first with a score of 76, followed by Brendan Luster in second with a score of 79. Ty Barbre was third, followed by Josh Green in fourth, and Kelton Harre in fifth. Also competing in the boys 14-15 age group was Peyton Mosely, J.D. Schubert, Carson Parker, Joe Morris, A.J. Rice, and Terry Pelczynski.

The last age group was 16-18 year olds. On the girls side Rachael Kell, of Nashville, took home first with a score of 81, followed by Brooke Bartling in second with a score of 89. Jordan Stiegman, and Ashley Klasing both shot a 97 on the day, followed by Madisyn Wuest with a 103, and Emma Vogt with a 133. On the boys side, Tyler Wall, of Nashville, was first with a score of 70, narrowly beating second place Tyler Goebel, of Breese, who finished with a score of 73. Wiatt Jennings was third with a 76, Derek Oxford was fourth with a 77, and Sean Scott, and Aven Kimmell each shot a 79. Also competing on the boys side was Nic Hollenkamp, Gehrig Wynn, Bryan Bain, Grant Thomspon, Noah Gerdes, Tyler Williamson, and Bryce Harre.

In the 16-18 year old boys age group, Tyler Wall took home first with a score of 70, while Tyler Goebel took home second with a score of 73.

in the 14-15 boys age group, Grant Goebel finished first with a score of 76, followed by Brendan Luster in second.

Gabe Kried finished first in the 12-13 boys age group with a score of 37, while Jarrett James finished second.

Cy Norman of Benton defeated Ausin Collins of Eldorado by nine strokes in the 10-11 boys age group at the Nashville Jr. Golf Tournament.

In the youngest age group competing, Alivia Reisch finished first, while Brynn Stiegman finished second.

After five holes of play, Konner Kueper finished first in the 8-9 boys age group, standing next to Josiah Jones who finished second.

Rachael Kell finished first in the 16-18 year old girls age group at the Nashville Jr. Golf Tournament. Brooke Bartling finished second.

Kylee Vaughan finished first in the girls 14-15 age group with a score of 81, followed by Hannah Gahagan in second place.

Kenzie Anderson finished first by nine strokes over second place Ryan Stiegman during the Nashville Jr. Golf Tournament in the 12-13 girls age group.
