Carol S. Ahlers

Ms. Carol Ahlers of Nashville, departed this life at her residence in Nashville on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 8:58 P.M. She had attained the age of 75 years, 5 months and 6 days.

Ms. Ahlers was born on July 12, 1941 in Perry County, IL, the daughter of John and Jewel (Smith) Ahlers. She was united in marriage to Marvin Rabenort and they later divorced.

Carol worked as a nurse for home health for many years. She was of the Christian faith and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing is her two sons, Bill Rabenort and Kelly Rabenort and wife Cheryl all of Nashville; four grandchildren, Ryan Finke and wife Crystal, Evan Finke and wife Alisha, Shaun Rabenort and Danielle Moeller and special friend Chelsey Meadows; a great grandson, Colton Finke; a brother, Jerry Ahlers and wife Faith; a sister, Donna Goslik and husband David of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Drenda Rabenort and two brothers, Whitsle and Bill Ahlers.

Per the wishes of Carol and her family, cremation was performed and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Washington County Partners for Pets and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
