Zion’s Wurst Markt will be November 8, 2017. This year the Wurst Markt (dining in and carryouts) will be held at the Addieville Community Club.

The warm and dry weather pattern continues. Everything in Addieville is dusty.
Many Washington County residents attended “One Night in Memphis” last Thursday evening at Kaskaskia College. It was a very good show.
Several from here attended Okawville High School Drama Club’s annual play “Dead Man’s Chest” over the weekend. It was the 25th year of the Drama Club under the direction of Jane Ford Carol Brockmann. Addieville students in the play were Erin Wiedwilt, Nick Rulevish and Anna McKinley.
Brandon Ostendorf spent the weekend with his cousin Matt Clyde in Soulard. On Saturday morning Brandon and Jennifer Reynolds formerly of the area ran in the Blue Note 5K run in Forest Park.
Glenda Dunn attended her Johnston City High School class reunion at Marion on Saturday.
Paul and Esther Grattendick spent last Thursday through Saturday in Central Illinois. They visited and enjoyed the Rock and Gem Museum in Shirley, IL. Along with the large display of rocks and gems they saw moon rocks given to the museum by President Nixon. It is a private museum and reservations are needed if you go.
The Grattendicks also visited friends in Springfield, IL. Central Illinois was getting rain.
