The Community Club is developing a well rounded schedule of events for the Hofbraufest. We are appreciative of our volunteers and contact will begin organizing our workers in the near future. The parade will feature the theme: Small Town USA.

The students at Trinity have been working building and programming LEGO robots. The opportunity has been achieved with the help of Washington County Extension/4-H and a grant from Monsanto. 5-8 grades have been a focused 4-H club working only on robotics. Grades 7 and 8 work on their robots during science class once a week and is part of the curriculum. Grades 5 and 6 work on their projects on an after school basis twice a month.

The 4-H will be hosting their own 4-H Robot Fair on Thursday, May 3 beginning at 6 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Judges have been selected and ribbons will be awarded. The fair is open to the public and everyone in the community is invited to come and observe. You may come and go as time and desire allows.
April 29 is the fifth Sunday of Easter.

Pastor Bill Causer will lead an Alternative Style Worship Service at Zion UCC at 10:00 am.

The Lectionary Scriptures are from Acts 8:26-40, Psalm 22:25-31, and John 15:1-8.

The overall theme is “Abiding in Love”. The Children’s Session begins at 9:00 am.

ALL ARE WELCOME!

From now through May 13 Zion will accept donations of baby diapers, all sizes, and wipes for the Irvington UCC Food Pantry for clients with young children.

This Food Pantry serves the residents of Washington County and is open weekly; first, fourth and fifth Saturdays from 9-11 am; and second and third Sundays from 11 am – 1pm.
