Josh and Tonya Koenigstein of Washington, IL, are the proud parents of a baby boy, Lucas Daniel, born Wednesday, November 29. Lucas weighed 9 lbs, 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. He joins big sister, Elaina. Paternal grandparents are Daniel and Christy Koenigstein.

Beautiful weather for the 34th Annual Country Christmas Stroll Saturday and Sunday at Okawville which area residents attended. One of the houses on the Christmas House Tour was in our little town of Venedy, Tom and Lori Segelhorst made our village proud.
