Blake and Serena Wisneski, as your daughter is baptized, may this special day be a wonderful reminder of the blessings you have as parents to love your daughter and prepare her for the special plans God has for her.

Brylee Ann Wisneski was baptized Sunday morning October 8 at St. Johns United Church of Christ, Johannisburg by Rev. Bill Groennert, Pastor. Godparents are Brandon Wisneski and Jessica Klein. A luncheon followed at the Wisneski’s for family and friends.

Open your bag of chips from the bottom, since most of the flavoring has settled there.

Cindy McHenry of Columbia, MO arrived in the area on Saturday to attend the Baptism of Brylee Ann Wisneski, she returned home on Monday.

Gracie came to visit Buster at the home of Steve and Gina Droege on Thursday. Ryan and Kayla Droege stopped on the way back home on Sunday to take pick her up. Hope you feel better, Gracie!

Tri-County Electric Customer Appreciation Day is Wednesday, October 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tri-County Electric Association in Mt. Vernon.

The Venedy Sportsmen’s Club’s 47th Annual Raffle drawing will be held at Seg’s Place in Venedy on Wednesday October 18 at 8pm.

Steve and Gina Droege attended the St. Louis Blues home opener on Saturday October 7 at Scottrade Center. It was an exciting game as the Blues top the Dallas Stars. The number 4 was the theme for the night as the Blues remembered former Blue Noel Picard who wore the #4. The first goal was scored by #4, Carl Gunnarsson and the score was 4 – 2.

Don’t forget St. Liborius Parish Wurstmarkt and Shooting Match on Sunday October 15th at the American Legion Home, St. Libory. Also a raffle and Country Store with products to take home and enjoy.
