Advanced Placement Exams: With qualifying AP exam scores, students can earn credit, advanced placement, or both at the majority of colleges and universities in the U.S. Unlike dual credit, where college credit is given at a junior college for taking the course at the high school, AP credit can be earned by obtaining a qualifying score on the AP subject test. You can obtain a college’s AP policy by using the AP policy info search at www.collegeboard.org/apcreditpolicy. Although NCHS doesn’t offer AP courses, students may take AP exams. Exams will be given in May to interested students. Students wishing to take an AP Exam must register with Mrs. Maschhoff by March 24, 2017. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Maschhoff at 327-8286 ext. 250.
SAT/ACT Prep Classes: NCHS teachers are hosting SAT/ACT prep workshops at the high school. The math, reading, and English sessions will focus on SAT preparation.
