Senior Taylor Cook broke the NCHS school record in the 300M hurdles at the Tri-County Invitational. Cook ran a 47.25 which broke the record of 47.6 set in 2002 by Kayla Markham.
Freshmen Sydney Schnitker broke the school record for triple jump at the Mascoutah Invitational. Schnitker jumped 35’1”, which broke the school record of 34’10” which was held by Haley Fark.
Wayne Harre has resigned as Athletic Director at Nashville Community High School. Harre said “it’s just time for me to move on to something else.” Harre went on to say, “I could not devote the amount of time I thought the Athletic Director position required.”

Last year, Herrin finished first as they defeated the Hornettes in the Championship game. Eight teams will compete in the tournament.
