Vernon St. Mary’s while picking up a win against Hoyleton/Hoffman/Grand Prairie/ILS. The St. Ann/TSJ Softball team could not get anything working offensively as they fell to Pinckneyville 204 17-1 on August 17.

Nashville Middle School’s sixth through eighth grade Band students participated at NMS Band Camp Wednesday, July 26, through Friday, July 28. On April 22, the Nashville Middle School 5th grade wrapped up their Adopt-a-Pilot class with a field trip to the Southern Illinois Airport and the SIUC Aviation facilities. The students toured the airport, looked at airplanes and got to fly a flight simulator. Southwest Pilot and SIU Alum John Hallock accompanied the students.
The 4X400m Relay team of Kiley Heidel, Korbi Rhine, Hailey Baugh, and Jordan Donato received fifth place at the SIJHSAA Class S State Track Meet which was held on Saturday May 13, at Tri-M Elementary School in Carterville. Baugh also received a medal in the 800m run. Baugh finished fourth with a time of 2:35.18.
