Mama Antonia’s located in Centralia was the setting for the Ruby Red Jewels’ January meeting.
The décor of the Italian restaurant consists of long wooden benches and chairs for seating. There was also seating at red padded leather wooden booths.
The friendly waitresses served such appetizers as fried zucchini, fried mozzarella, massimo sticks, and more. The homemade creamy Italian dressing which can be purchased was delicious.
All types of classic pastas, oven baked pastas, and specialty toasted subs (bread is freshly baked) were enjoyed by all. All types of pizzas were served from Greek to BBQ chicken.
A special treat was a red and purple decorated birthday cake which was furnished by Phyllis Diedrich who bought the cake from our local Bakery Nook.
The birthday cake was served in honor of the January birthdays: Phyllis Diedrich, Georgine Hawley-May and Laura Paszkiewicz.
Following the meeting, the ladies went shopping in Centralia.
Those attending the luncheon were: Phyllis Diedrich, Jerri Heggemeier, Judy Heiman, Karen Lunte, Georgine Hawley-May, Sandy Turner, and hostess Laura Paszkiewicz.
