This Week’s Pets For Adoption

This issue’s pet of the week is a young male Husky mix. He was found in town but no one has called about him. The Washington County Partners for Pets state that they are “not sure how he would be with cats.” Because of the dogs snow white coat, luminous eyes, and the managing editor’s enthusiasm for “Game of Thrones”, his Nashville News staff-suggested name is “Ghost.”

Other dogs available for adoption include a seven-year-old female black and silver terrier mix, a four-year-old female black and white coonhound, an eight-year-old female black and white mix breed, a nine-year-old female black lab mix, a two-year-old female blue brindle pit mix, a three-year-old female black-and-tan miniature pinscher, and a three-year-old black and brindle lab mix.

There are also six kittens available for adoption at this time.

Dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an AVID identification chip and $50 off spaying or neutering.

The shelter also accepts donations of aluminum cans to help cover costs.
