This Week’s Pets For Adoption

This week’s pet of the week is this one-and-a-half-year old male Pointer mix. According to our contact with the Washington County Partners For Pets, “He seems to be saying, ‘You talkin’ to me?!’” With that in mind, The Nashville News staff-suggested name for this week’s dog is Bobby D.

Other pets looking for adoption include a 8-year-old male black lab mix, a one-year-old female chocolate pit bull, a one-year-old male tri-color Husky mix, a five-year-old female black lab mix, a two-year-old male tri-color mix breed, a three-year-old male brindle boxer, a four-month-old male black and tan mix breed, a two-year-old female blue brindle pit mix, a two-year-old spayed female blue and white pit mix, and a one-and-a-half-year-old liver and white pointer mix. There are two cats and three kittens available at this time.

Dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an AVID identification chip and $50 off spaying or neutering.

The shelter also accepts donations of aluminum cans to help cover costs.
