Submit a News Tip

Some of our most important stories start with a tip from readers like you. If you saw something, know something, or think something in your community deserves attention, we want to hear about it.

What Makes a Good Tip

  • Something happening in your neighborhood that others should know about
  • Road closures, public safety concerns, or local business changes
  • Questions about decisions made by local officials or agencies
  • Photos or videos of breaking news you captured yourself
  • A viral claim you want us to check

How to Send a Tip

Email: [[email protected]]
Please include:

  • What happened, in as much detail as you can
  • Where and when it happened
  • How you know about it
  • Any photos, videos, or documents that support it
  • Your name and a way to reach you (optional, but helpful)

Your Privacy

You can send a tip without sharing your name. If you do share your contact details, we will only use them to follow up on your tip and will not publish your identity without your permission.

What Happens Next

Every tip is reviewed by our newsroom. We verify information independently before publishing, so not every tip becomes a story, but every tip is read.

Please note: If you are reporting an emergency or a crime in progress, call 911 first.
